The Techno Corner was introduced to our centre just over a month ago. Already the children aged 3-4 have grasped the touch screen and activity concept. With this program I am confident enough to allow the children to select their own activity, as the product is extremely child friendly. There is no need to worry if they are going to enter the wrong program or delete important files.
All programs are easy to navigate and benefit the children immensely. It is great to know they are learning, whilst also having fun! This program is also very useful for small group activities, one on one with the children and I also include this program in with my group times to keep things interesting!!
As a team leader in childcare, I am extremely happy with the Techno Corner and would recommend it for your centre or early childhood program.

Our Tiny Tots absolutely love our Techno Corner computer. The programmes are a lot of fun and varied and each child has their own personal favourites.
We find our Tiny Tots are not only learning important developmental skills but also self help skills. They have a lot of control over choices and are able to move around the activities themselves, boosting their self esteem and confidence.
They are also learning very important skills such as sharing, taking turns and taking care of our possessions.

At Pakenham Early Education Centre we are now able to offer a Computer Gym Techno Corner five days a week, making the program available to all of the children over three at our centre. For a program that is free to all families at our centre, the children are able to have a broad style of learning encouraging them to participate in all areas of development. Not only are the children having fun as they participate, this experience also teaches them sharing skills and independence all at the touch of the screen. We can see the excitement in the children when it is their computer gym time and they enjoy having the freedom to self select the program that suits their interests. We are extremely happy to have the Techno Corner as part of our centre and thank them for all the extra effort they put in to train our staff and foster the children''s learning.
The children in the kinder room have immensely enjoyed the Techno Corner programme. It is involving even the most reluctant children and bringing a whole new excitement to the kinder programme.
The Techno Corner has worked well within the 2-5 age group in our centre. The staff find the topics relate well to our teaching and children's interests. The children love it and parents have given us positive feedback about the program. This program links well to the EYLF.
I find it a valuable learning experience to place new games on the computer and document what children figure out, how to work it on their own and how they teach other children. Eventually I teach the children in a group forum how to use the game and children that have figured it out demonstrate for everyone. This method is great for observation and learning stories.
The Techno Corner has helped tremendously with concentration skills, writing skills and memory.
A great asset to the room and to the centre. It has also proved to be a great tool in assisting new/unsettled children to adjust to the centre.
